Types of Gold Jewelry

10K, 14 K, 18K, 24K, Platinum  Gold

• 10K – This has the least gold and will be the strongest. Ideal for those doing manual labor (Although Titanium is better)
• 14K Gold – This has more gold and is a little less firm. Since it has a tendency to “shape” to the finger, it is ideal for men in office jobs.
• 18K Gold – Frankly, I am not sure why anyone gets 18k gold. It looks very similar to 14k gold and acts much the same way. If you want to up the quality of the gold, then go for platinum. Otherwise, stick to 10K or 14K gold.
• 24K Gold – Is the closest thing to gold you can get. However, due to its softness, it is not good for jewelry at all. Be wary anyone seeking to sell 24k Gold jewelry
• Platinum Gold – This is the highest type of gold you can get for jewelry that will keep its shape. It is also among the most expensive but, to me it is worth the price.

• 5mm & 6mm – these are the most common widths and compliment the man’s hand nicely
